When you need this pack

Our boffins have conducted extensive research and found changing the water filter every 6 months and UV lamp every 12 will keep your water system in tip-top condition. This pack contains everything you need for your 12-month service. Alternate between this and the filter pack every 6 months to get the most out of your machine.

Change the UV lamp every 12 months

Our activated carbon filter uses charcoal treated with oxygen to open up millions of tiny pores between the carbon atoms. This allows a process called adsorption, whereby molecules in the water such as chlorine are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon in the filter removing them from the water you drink.
This means over time it will become saturated and needs changing. Changing the filter every 6 months will ensure the best purity and taste.

Change the Filter every 6 months

The water is exposed to light from a special UV lamp, set to a bacteria-killing wavelength. UV adds nothing to the water, produces no tastes or odors, and typically requires only a few seconds of exposure to be effective.
However, like a light bulb in your home, the lamp will lose power over time. Changing it every 12 months will ensure you are getting all the benefits of the bacteria-killing UV treatment.
