    Yes. In response to customer feedback, we separated the payments.
    Your first payment, to own your new Water System, can be made up front for £399.99 using all major credit or debit cards or PayPal. You can also spread this cost, interest free, for £33.33 per month over 12 months. If you choose to spread the cost, all you pay on day 1 is your first instalment of £33.33.
    Your second payment, for WaterCare+, delivers hassle free and comprehensive service for just £12.95 per month. Your first WaterCare+ payment will be taken via Direct Debit 2 weeks after installation. If you are spreading the cost into interest free instalments, you will be covered throughout the payment plan. After 12 months, you have the option to extend your WaterCare+ contract, or switch to pay as you go.
    You can choose the most convenient payment dates for you, regardless of when you ordered – by speaking to our customer services team.

  • How does the Water System remove impurities?

    By the time tap water reaches your home it’s been disinfected with Chlorine, before passing through old metal pipes where rust, dirt, and debris can be collected.
    Most forms of filtered water remove some of these substances but our Water Systems remove all the bad stuff, here’s how:

    1. A mesh water filter at the inlet pipe traps big bits of dirt
    2. Smaller impurities like rust and sand are removed by a sediment filter
    3. An activated carbon water filter adsorbs organic matter and contaminants
    4. The chilled filtered water is zapped by a UV purifier keeping it free from bacteria
    5. Whilst the boiling water is treated to prevent scale (those yucky white flakes).
  • How does Virgin Pure compare to buying bottled water?

    Advice varies, but it’s generally accepted that you should be drinking around 2 l of water a day.
    A 1.5 litre of bottled water from a well-known brand currently costs around 52p. To drink 2 litres a day would cost 70p, or £20 a month. That’s £80 a month for a family of four.     WaterCare+ is a monthly service, designed to give you everything you need to enjoy the best Pure Water at all times whilst saving you time and effort.
    The monthly payment covers everything; all your replacement filters and UV lamps, warranty, re-install service (should you move property) and easy access to our expertise – and all spread into easy monthly payments.

  • How is my Water System installed?

    One of our trained technicians will install your Water System. It will be connected to your mains water supply via a 6-mm flexi tube running through an 8mm hole in your kitchen countertop. A hole? Yikes! But fear not, 8mm is barely the width of a pencil and we drill all our holes neatly and discreetly, so you’ll barely even notice.

  • How is the Water System installed?

  • How much power does my Water System use?

    Everyone uses their Water System differently, so we can’t give you a definitive, one-size-fits-all figure, but we carried out our own independent tests with the Water Regulation Advisory Service to compare the power usage of our T6 Water System to an ordinary domestic kettle.
    In the test, we did the following:

    • Filled 4 mugs per day with boiling water
    • Allowed 8 hours per day for the Water System to be in energy saving mode (typically when you are sleeping)
    • Included all power used by the Water System whilst on standby

    The Water System returned an average energy usage of 0.025kWh per use or 128.448kWh per year.
    In comparison boiling a kettle returned energy usage of 0.11kMh per usage or 169.433 kWh per year.
    So the kettle used 32% more energy in a year than the Water System.
    It’s also important to consider that, according to the Energy Savings Trust, 75% of people admit to using too much water every time they boil a kettle and 40% of households in the UK actually boil the kettle more than 5 times per day.*

  • What’s the difference between a Water System and a water filter jug?

    Like a Virgin Pure System, most filter jugs use a filter to remove substances like chlorine from tap water. Chlorine is added to water to prevent Bacteria breeding in water. However once the chlorine has been removed, water can become a breeding ground for bacteria.

    That’s why our Systems have a UV lamp, to inactivate these microorganisms and prevent them from multiplying once the Chlorine has been removed from water. In fact our Systems kill 99.99999% of health- concern waterborne bacteria in water* Not to mention our Water System removes the need for re-filling jugs, taking up fridge space and needing a separate kettle.
