I have a Water Softener, Can this be installed?
Potentially yes, however, your WaterBar must be attached to the mains water supply at a point before the water softener is attached.

How is the WaterBar installed?
One of our trained technicians will install your WaterBar. It will be connected to your mains water supply via a 6-mm flexi tube through a pencil-sized (8mm) hole in your kitchen countertop. A hole yikes? But fear not we always drill holes in the back or a very discreet position., it’s neat and small and sometimes we can’t even find the holes once we’ve drilled them
Can it go inside a cabinet or a recess?
There must be a 10-cm gap between the back of the WaterBar and the wall to allow adequate air circulation. If you want your WaterBar to be installed in a recess (built-in), it must be at least 38 cm high and 45 cm deep. Your technician will measure this.
What if I don’t want it in my kitchen, where else can it go?
That’s fine. We’ve put WaterBars in all sorts of places – offices, playrooms, studies, conservatories, you name it. Your WaterBar can go wherever you want, as long as it’s within 2 m of an electrical socket and 10 m of the mains water supply (subject to good water pressure).
Where can the WaterBar be installed?
Anywhere you want, as long as it’s within 2 m of an electrical socket and 10 m of the mains water supply subject to good water pressure. Your technician will be more than happy to advise you on the best location. You can even try out a few positions before deciding which one is best for you.
Can I install my WaterBar myself?
Our WaterBars can only be installed by one of our Virgin Pure technicians. This is so your WaterBar is installed properly and your warranty is validated. Your warranty covers onsite repair or replacement and is included when you join Virgin Pure on a monthly plan. See the plans here.
Once you’ve chosen your WaterBar model and colour, it’s sent directly to our technician. They’ll bring it with them when they come to install it, so you don’t have to worry about being home to take delivery.
