5pm last Friday brought 10 days of the H2Only challenge to an end.
Aside from revealing our alarming dependance on caffeine, the past 10 days have shown us the importance of understanding why we do things. Ten days without coffee, tea and our usual tipple would usually spell Armageddon around these parts, but we stayed committed to the challenge because we were committed to the cause. But we did have some fun along the way…
Some of us formed new habits, most of us struggled through but we all agree that we drank way more water than we would have ever done otherwise.
Now that the challenge is over, rather than patting each other on the back we find ourselves reflecting on the continued work of the RNLI. For many of us here at Virgin Pure this was the first time that we were aware of the RNLI. We’ve been staggered by their work, and continue to be amazed and humbled by their contribution to this country. They truly do protect our shores.
The H2Only challenge was a triumph of creativity on the part of the RNLI innovation team. As a means of generating awareness around the cause, and underpinning the challenge with a sense of camaraderie, purpose and fun, H2Only was a true success.
We look forward to future challenges with great anticipation, and we’re excited to do anything we can here at Virgin Pure to continue our contribution to the heroic work of the RNLI.
Anddd then came the celebrations, but they were well deserved! Great job everyone!
